Remember When

Remember when you would laugh with me and not at me?

Remember when you would ask me for my thoughts and not whether I had put away the pots?

Remember when you talked about my victory and not the fact that I didn’t do the laundry?

How about when you used to praise my imagination versus my lack of attention?

You would never ask me twice since somehow you knew I had to pay a price!

You said you would never get bored with me and not once a mention of that not being a priority!

Remember when we fantasized together versus punishing me for being a dreamer?

You loved my surprises and didn’t care whether I had rightly placed the boxes.

You used to love my originality even though you knew I had a different mentality!

Please try hard to Remember all those reasons and try less to punish me for my misses!
